Pilgrimage Church of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary and the Cistercian Provost Office
is a great Baroque building by architect Jan Blažej Santini Aichel. Former provost and pilgrimage church is located near the Pilsen and currently there is a museum.
There is an amazing museum here, with numerous artifacts dating from as far back as the Stone Age. Also, several areas feature colorful exhibits depicting daily life in earlier times. There is no shortage of religious artifacts, including statues, woodcarvings, and old Bibles and prayer books used by monks here in the past. I was surprised and pleased that the museum provides hand-held translators that give excellent narration in English and other languages throughout the museum. This is a very impressive place.
